Introducing the Sarina Sugar Shed 1.5L American White Oak Barrel — Crafted from select American oak with no metal or plastic liners, this barrel delivers an authentic aging experience.

Featuring a medium char, the barrel imparts a refined balance of toasty richness and subtle smokiness, drawing out notes of vanilla, caramel, and gentle oak spice.

Available in your choice of either Ex-Tawny Port or Ex-Muscat. Limited stock and only while stock last. 

Your mini barrel will come pre-filled with 40% Cane Spirit, influenced by the natural environment and climate of which the sugarcane has been grown, resulting in unique flavours and aromas a true terroir-driven spirit. 

Rum by law in Australia must be kept in an oak barrel for 2 years, however what takes years in a large barrel can happen in month in a smaller cask. 8 weeks is equivalent to 1 year in a 200lt Barrel, so after 16 weeks your spirit should be equivalent to a 2-year barrel aged rum. 

Just remember during the aging process the angels or the devil will take their share.
